The 7480 IC package contains a single 1 bit full adder circuit with carry over. Multiple units can be cascaded to form larger registering adding circuits. This is an outdated model and not recommended for newer designs, however, for vintage electronics enthusiasts, this could be an essential component in a hand built arithmetic logic unit (ALU) in your homemade computer design.
